National Certification

The National Center for Juvenile Intervention

certifies six exclusive types of individuals

within the juvenile intervention industry.

Certified NCJI members will have access to a

job-specific employment database and will be given

priority access to all upcoming workshops, seminars,

and family consultation contracts. Certified members can

also receive a personal page within the NCJI Kid Pros Network.

Candidates for certification, need only submit an application form for the specific program to which they want to apply along with supporting documentation to begin the process.

Why NCJI Certification?

While many professionals receive educational training to the point of obtaining a doctorate degree, some also choose to become board certified to document their training and knowledge base.  Certification in a field with NCJI goes beyond this in that it recognizes your knowledge and abilities, but also documents your direct impact on the larger profession.  Our network of professionals undergo a background check, attend required continuing education, and must document their impact on a community or organization within the early intervention field.

In return, employers and intervention professionals can immediately identify both their level of expertise and commitment to the profession.  Additionally, our certified professionals become part of a unique intervention community that can share ideas and research (both statistical and anecdotal) across a specific field of prevention and early intervention.  This cross-spectrum approach gives breadth to our specialists and numbers them among the premier child behavior experts in the country.
